First Post Of Citaxhien

Citaxhien (English - 'Citizen') is a new newspaper that has just launched to serve the community of the Talossan republic. Citaxhien uses a blog style format for ease of use and accessibility.
During the next few weeks, Citaxhien will trial a few articles before an official launch (date yet to be announced), after which posting of articles will become much more regular, and the look and feel of the blog will become much more user friendly and presentable.
On the whole, as a newspaper, Citaxhien is a project set up and run mainly by Jum Txec, an ordinary member of the Talossan community, to provide a central information access point, where any member of the Republic of Talossa can access up to date information about whats going on in the Micronation. During busy times of the calender, such as elections, articles will be posted more frequently and include detailed analysis and opinions from various sources to try and build and scope. During quiet times of the Talossan calender, 'feature' artciles will be posted, which may include more light hearted, random or non-importand subjects.
One of the main priorities of Citaxhien is to provide citizens with the oppertunity to get involved by posting their own views and opinons, and writing their own articles about subjects that interest them. More on this scheme in the near future.
I hope that you will enjoy Citaxhien as much as I do, and I look forward to seeing articles submitted from various members in the near future.
Citaxhien will be presented in a rough 'Tabloid' style format, and articles will not be excessively long, but rather straight to the point and informative, although feature articles may be very extended. Images and quotations will be used liberally.
Citaxhien will support other Talossan newspapers and provide links to them for the conveniance of users. We want to promote a healthy competition, giving the consumer choice and quality when accessing their news.
Citaxhien is, and always will be, absolutely free for anyone to access.
Criticism (both constructive and non-constructive) will always be accepted by Citaxhien.
Citaxhien wants to build on the friendly community of the Talossan republic, and any articles submitted for publication will have to pass through a quick check as follows:

- Articles must contain no discriminative language or cause any offence
- Articles may contain some strong language, but a warning will be placed beforehand, by the moderator, on publication.
- Articles must not contain any offensive images or material.
- Articles must not contain any text or images that are an eye-sore or are of any annoyance to the viewing nature of the blog.

But in short, common sense must be used. Any articles disobeying rules will not be posted, or they will be removed following complaints from readers.
